Please be advised that on March 14, 2017, Municipal Council gave First Reading to the Repeal of the Temporary Event By-law. If approved, it will abolish the existing Temporary Event By-law. The existing By-law is outdated, and the Regional Emergency Measures Organization is reviewing procedures for mass gathering events.

Notice is hereby given that Municipal Council will be considering Second Reading of the Repeal of the Temporary Event By-law at its regularly scheduled meeting on April 11, 2017, which commences at 9:00 a.m. in the Municipal Administration Building, 210 Aberdeen Road, Bridgewater.

A copy of the Temporary Event By-law is available at the Municipality of the District of Lunenburg Office, 210 Aberdeen Road, Bridgewater, during normal business hours of 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday, except holidays or online at http://www.modl.ca/document-library/municipal-by-laws/61-temporary-event-by-law/file.
