Effective April 1, 2011, the new septage lagoons at the Lunenburg Regional Community Recycling Centre (LRCRC) are operating and open.

Upgrades, which began on December 1, 2010, have been completed and the new lagoons are in compliance with the Waste Water Treatment Regulations, put in place by the province on January 1, 2011.

The LRCRC would like to thank everyone involved for their patience during the upgrades.
