There are a bajillion reasons to cycle as your mode of transportation (fresh air, body and mind feel nice, no gas $ needed, less carbon emissions, talk to your neighbours, see a baby deer, etc).
We interviewed ten folks in Lunenburg County about the joy and opportunities for cycling as a mode of transportation in our community and we’re sharing those interviews with you at this event in a short documentary film!
There are no official bike rides to the event from surrounding communities (but if you want to organize one, let us know!)
This is a family friendly event. Bring ur kid. Bring a friend. Bring ur mom (mom if you’re reading this you better come). This is an inclusive and welcoming space. There will be no tolerance for hate or discrimination.
The event is FREE to attend, but we want you to sign up on Eventbrite so we know you’re coming. I’m a control freak, what can I say?
This event is taking place on unceeded and unsurrendered land of the Mi’kmaw people.
This project is delivered by Lemonade Co. with support from the Province of Nova Scotia, Cycling Nova Scotia, Freewheeling Adventures, the Lunenburg Bike Shop, and Sweet Ride Cycling.
