Development Agreement (application: Peter Hopkins)

Place: Municipal Council Chambers (210 Aberdeen Rd, Bridgewater)

On April 11th 2017, Council gave Notice of Intent to enter into a proposed Development Agreement. The Agreement will apply to three properties located at the corner of William Hebb Rd & Conquerall Mills Rd in Hebbville. The three parcels are identified as PIDs: #60288438, #60487048, & #60487055. The Agreement would permit the applicant (Mr. Peter Hopkins) to clear & develop space on the property that would exceed the maximum size requirements identified in the Hebbville Land Use By-law. These cleared areas would allow Mr. Hopkins to use the property for materials storage, in support of his landscaping services.

Copies of the proposed Agreement & related reports are included in the Hearing Public Information Package , which is also available at the municipal offices in hard copy, during regular office hours (8:30AM-4:30PM).

A PUBLIC HEARING will be held: Wednesday May 3rd, 2017, starting at 7.00PM, in Municipal Council Chambers, located at 210 Aberdeen Rd, in Bridgewater. The public can make formal written or oral submissions to Council on the Agreement. Written submissions will be received until 4:30PM, Tuesday May 2nd, 2017, and are to be addressed to: Ms. Sherry Conrad, Municipal Clerk, at: 210 Aberdeen Road, Bridgewater NS, B4V 4G8. Oral submissions will be received at the time and place of the Hearing. Council can make their decision regarding the Agreement, to immediately follow the Public Hearing.
