Please familiarize yourself with the required items for each type of building permit application from the list on the left (Dwelling Units, Storage Buildings/Garages, Decks, Change of Use). We offer payment via cash, cheque, debit, or online bill payment (we will provide you with an account number if you choose this option) we currently do not accept credit card payments. As part of the staff review of your application, we may contact you for additional information or clarification. If your application is not complete it will add delays to your processing time – our timeline for issuing a permit is typically 14 days from receipt of all documents and payment.

Please Note: submission of your application DOES NOT mean you have a valid building permit, you cannot begin construction until you receive your building permit.
