Mushamush Beach Park is a municipal treasure! Located on Mushamush Lake in Sweetland, it is a pleasant drive from anywhere in our District.

The park is open May through to October from 9am until dusk for swimming, picnicing, paddlling or a leisurely walk. The lake is shallow with a very low grade making it an excellent swimming area for little ones and those not comfortable in deep water. The Municipality offers swimming lessons at this location. Call (902)541-1343 for information.

The beach is equipped with accessible picnic tables and on-site privies. There is also a small play area on-site for children.

Come prepared to spend the day. Pack up your swimsuit, beach blanket, shovel and bucket, and maybe a good book. Unfortunately, you will need to leave your pet at home as pets are prohibited. If you are looking for a location that allows pets, all of the other Municipal parks are pet on leash parks.

Hunting, trapping and overnight camping are prohibited.
