Ben Floyd was officially sworn in as Councillor for District 9 during the Municipality of the District of Lunenburg's Council meeting on October 13, 2026, following his acclamation to the role.
A lifelong resident of District 9, Floyd is the owner of Nature's Reflections Landscaping Ltd. and has been actively involved in the community for many years. He has also served with the Dayspring and District Fire Department and volunteered with a number of local organizations and initiatives.
As Councillor for District 9, Floyd will represent residents and communities throughout the district and participate in Council's decision-making on municipal programs, services, and priorities.
Council and staff welcome Councillor Floyd and look forward to working with him in service of the residents of the Municipality of the District of Lunenburg.
