On December 2, 2025, Mayor McLean-Wile proclaimed that December 3, 2025 is recognized as International Day for Persons with Disabilities.
International Day for Persons with Disabilities promotes an understanding of disability issues and the imporantance of equal access for Nova Scotians with disabilities in all aspects of society.
