The Municipality of the District of Lunenburg is inviting local businesses and service providers to complete a short survey about municipal procurement opportunities.
The District is committed to increasing awareness of municipal purchasing opportunities and supporting participation from local businesses. Under the District's updated Procurement Policy, qualified local vendors may receive a 5% local preference during the evaluation of eligible bids, helping local businesses compete for municipal work while maintaining a fair and competitive procurement process.
The survey will help the District better understand how businesses learn about procurement opportunities, what challenges they may face when considering municipal work, and what information or support would be most helpful. Feedback will be used to improve communications, outreach efforts, and future vendor information sessions.
Whether your business has bid on municipal work in the past, is interested in doing so in the future, or simply wants to share its perspective, your input is valued.
The survey takes approximately five minutes to complete and is open until Friday, October 30, 2026.
